Base Oils

Base oils are derived from the refining of crude oil. In the heating process, hydrocarbons are separated into light and heavy fractions. The lighter hydrocarbons can be further refined into petrol and other fuels, while the heavier fractions are suitable for producing bitumen and base oils.
